The standard Deep Axle Cap is manufactured from Stainless steel and like the dome hides the end of the axle and the Starlock® push on fastener. The shape of the deep axle cap has been designed to allow for greater penetration of the axle through the Starlock® push on fastener than the dome style allowing the Starlock® push on fastener to grip further along the axle.
